Starting in September the Champaign County Historical Archives will be open every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Now you will have even more time to explore our diverse array of resources from databases, photographs, newspapers, and maps to county records and census data. As always we are here to help you with all your local history and genealogy needs.
Research Night, a partnership between the Archives and the Champaign County Genealogical Society (CCGS), will continue to occur on the second Wednesday evening of each month. On these nights in addition to Archives staff experienced volunteers from the Champaign County Genealogical Society (CCGS) will be on hand to get you started on your own genealogy or help you bust through a brick wall in your famly research.
