Board Game Donation Guidelines
The Library accepts new, like new, or very gently used donations of board games year-round. Decisions on whether to add a donated game to the collection, save it for additional game pieces, or discard it will be made by Collection Librarians.
Donation Guidelines
- We do not accept:
- Video games
- Arts and crafts kits
- Damaged games
- Moldy or dirty games
- Incomplete games
- Puzzles
Donation Instructions
- Donations must be made in non-returnable containers.
- Any items not being considered for circulation or for replacement pieces will be recycled or discarded.
- After items are donated, neither items nor containers will be returned.
- All board games must include all game pieces and instructions
If you require assistance or have a donation exceeding three boxes, you must schedule an appointment with Library staff. Email bookdonations@urbanafree.org to schedule a donation appointment.
