A program for all ages!
Spice up your winter with this all ages reading challenge!
Settle in with a good book and read to earn prizes provided by the Friends of The Urbana Free Library. And this winter, try an activity challenge!
For Children (birth through 5th grade)
- Track reading and winter activities online with Beanstack or on a reading log available at the Library.
- For every 360 minutes they read or are read to, children win a free book.
- For completed winter activities, children earn a prize from the treasure box.
For Teens (6th-12th grade)
- Track reading and winter activities online with Beanstack or on a reading log available at the Library.
- For every 360 minutes read, teens win a free book.
- For completed winter activities, teens earn a Mini Mochi Squishy Toy.
For Adults (post high school and up)
- Track reading and winter activities online with Beanstack.
- For every four books read, adults win a free book.
- For completed winter activities, adults earn a vinyl water bottle sticker.
Remember that eBooks, audiobooks, comic books, and graphic novels all count toward your reading goals.
Pick up your prizes at the Library or by calling 217-367-4057 and scheduling a curbside pickup. Limit two book prizes per participant.
