Celebrating the End of WWII

This photograph set highlights the photographs held by the Champaign County Historical Archives that depict veterans. The photographs show veterans from the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnamese Conflict. Included in the set are photographs of soldiers at home and abroad, during times of service and as part of veterans groups after service.  This is just a small sample of the veterans photographs held by the CCHA.

If you are interested in seeing more photographs of veterans, or learning more about the role of Champaign County men and women in various wars, stop by the Champaign County Historical Archives on the second floor of the Urbana Free Library!
