This photograph of Main Street in Tolono was taken around 1912. The caption reads, "Shows the Tolono Exchange Bank building (housing the Philip McDonnell Grocery Store in its lower story) and nearby buildings on the north side of the 100 block of East Main Street, Tolono. Taken from a vantage point just west of the intersection of Main Street and Vorcey Street, looking northeast. The other buildings are the Shipley Building (housing an unidentified restaurant) and Cooper General Store building.
