Who doesn't love getting a postcard in the mail?
The Champaign County Historical Archives has digitized over one hundred and fifty historical postcards from Champaign County. These postcards provide a fun and colorful glimpse into what life was like at the turn of the century. From the "Big Fire" that tore through Champaign on March, 17, 1915,
to the annual Corn Carnival in Mahomet, 
nearly every aspect of daily life is portrayed.
This collection also features the many things that make Champaign County unique, such as the Flatville Immanuel Lutheran Church in Thomasboro, and the streetcars that once crisscrossed the county.
