As the world went to war for the first time, the residents of Champaign County answered the call. Many brave individuals left for the front, women became nurses and children sold war bonds. Today, we continue to respect their sacrafices and in honor of the 100th anniversary of World War I the Archives has a new exhibit "A Century Later: Champaign County Remembers the Great War, 1914-1918."
