MacFarlane-Hood Reading Room

Enjoy a selection of old and new favorites, picked especially by fellow book club members.

This month, we will read and discuss The End of Your Life Book Club, by Will Schwalbe
An ode to books, The End of Your Life Book Club chronicles

Will Schwalbe sits with his mother in the waiting room of a cancer treatment clinic shortly after her diagnosis, and asks her what she’s reading. An ode to books, The End of Your Life Book Club is the chronicle of that conversation and the following months, in which mother and son create a book club for two.  They discuss the wide variety of books they've read, but also talk about life and anything else that reading provokes.

UFL Reads! our book club for adults, meets the fourth Sunday of most months.
