You’re invited to join hundreds of fellow treasure seekers at one of the most anticipated events of the season!

Each year, the Friends of The Urbana Free Library hold massive sales of great used books in spring, summer, and fall. You can also browse a selection of gently used books year-round at The Urbana Free Library Cafe and Friends Book Shop. Proceeds from book sales and the book shop support the purchase of library materials and programs.

Members of the Friends have access to a special preview on Thursday evening (electronic devices for scanning are not permitted on preview night).

Not a member yet? Join ONLINE or download the handy membership form, which you can drop in the mail or turn in at any Library service desk. Or you can come to the book sale and join at the door.

Young Artists Workshops: Seed Collage with Anna Barnes

Sunday, November 18 • 3:00 - 3:45 p.m.
For children ages 5 and up; 7 and under with a caregiver
Children's Area (Ground Floor)


Join us for the next installment of our Young Artist’s Studio, featuring local artist Anna Barnes. Youth participants will create their own seed collages through a guided exercise using seeds of all types and their own imaginations! Each participant will have a seed collage to take home at the end. All events in the series are free and open to the public. All supplies are provided. Dress comfortably and get ready to roll up those sleeves!

The Young Artists Workshop is a series of art workshops co-sponsored by The Urbana Free Library and the Urbana Public Arts Program designed to offer youth an opportunity to explore the arts.
