You’re invited to join hundreds of fellow treasure seekers at one of the "sweetest" events of the season!  With a five-day schedule that gives book lovers ample opportunity to come back for more, the Friends Book Sale adds to the celebratory events that occur in downtown Urbana during the last weekend in August.  It's your ultimate summer weekend: visit the Market at the Square, visit the Urbana Sweetcorn Festival, and visit the Friends of The Urbana Free Library Book Sale.

Not a member of the Friends of The Urbana Free Library? Use THIS LINK to register online or download a membership form.   Members of the Friends have access to a special preview on Thursday evening, August 27 (no electronic devices for scanning will be permitted on preview night).

Each year, the Friends hold massive sales of great used books in March, August, and November. But if you're an avid book lover, you also can browse a selection of gently used books year-round at The Urbana Free Library Cafe and Friends Book Shop.  Proceeds from book sales and the book shop support library programs and the purchase of library materials.
