Join us Monday, May 20th, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. for Art Day! This month, we'll be practicing the art of paper marbling.
Paper marbling is a technique that originated in Asia with Suminagashi, which means "floating ink" in Japanese. The process involves painting on thickened water with many colors, brushing the paint to create designs, and dipping paper in the water in order to transfer the paint to the finished product.
Plan for a fun time outside the library, or in the Lewis Auditorium in case of rain. We hope to see you there!
On the 4th Monday of most months, teens are invited to join us for an hour of artistic creativity, with different art activities planned each month.
