Tax Forms

The Urbana Free Library receives a limited supply of forms and instruction booklets each year. In addition, we are happy to assist you in finding other forms through the IRS website. Printing from library computers costs 15¢ / page for black & white, 75¢ for color. For 2017, we received the following notice from the IRS:

Notice 1437 (February 2018) Information About Your Tax Forms: The IRS is reviewing The Bipartisan Budget Act enacted on February 9, 2018, that retroactively extended and modified numerous tax provisions covering 2017. As most tax forms were printed for distribution prior to the signing of new legislation, we recognize this may impact some tax forms ordered. To ensure you have the latest version of the tax product, we strongly encourage you to visit for updates on the implementation of this law. Updated versions of tax forms will only be available on

You can obtain your own forms and instructions from the IRS by choosing one of the following options:

Other resources available include photocopiers and a fax machine.  The downtown branch of the Urbana Post Office is conveniently located one block east of the Library, adjacent to Lincoln Square Village.
