Founded in 1874,  The Urbana Free Library  is one of the oldest public libraries in Illinois.  Known for its diverse collection, dedication to the public arts, and its compassionate service,  the library offers programs and resources that facilitate the achievement of life goals  and enrich the Urbana community. Your gift to the library will help ensure it  as a vital community asset—now and for generations to come.

The Foundation provides a means for library supporters to make donations to provide for the library's emerging needs and future expansion.  It is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, so there are tax advantages to making a gift.
