Singer/songwriter Mike Rosenberg’s latest album, All the Little Lights, released under the name Passenger, has been a top 10 seller in the UK and mainland Europe, getting as high as #2 in Australia and Ireland. But, you might say, this is not Europe, and I haven’t seen hide nor hair of this Passenger on the U.S. charts. Well, naysayer, you haven’t been looking in the right charts. All the Little Lights has been on the Billboard charts for folk music for nearly 9 months, with the likes of Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers and Ed Sheeran (whom Passenger toured with at one point).
This Brit definitely has some cheeky lyrics and catchy songs from tracks like “Staring at the Stars” and “I Hate (live from the Borderline, London)”, but my favorite (and the most popular single) is the more subdued “Let Her Go.” It’s a great song on a great album; check it out!
