Building on the success of the Hands-on Literacy and Math Kits, the Library has added NEW Hands-on Science Kits to the collection.
Designed primarily for children in preschool and elementary school, each kit comes in a clear plastic backpack and includes activities and resources to help teachers and caregivers create and share learning experiences.
The Hands-on Science Kits offer children the opportunity to explore STEM-related concepts (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) while having fun! The new collection includes topics such as animal x-rays, create-a-chain reaction, life cycles, weather, color mixing, dinosaurs, healthy food, and insect discovery.

Hands-On Science Kits were made possible through a generous gift from Glenna Spitze in memory of Megan Spitze.
