Babymouse for President
by Jennifer and Matthew Holm

This is a graphic novel. It is about how Babymouse runs for class president against Felicia Furrypaws. I like all of the Babymouse books because they are so funny and Babymouse always has troubles. She also has great friends. And sometimes an o.k. brother.  I think anyone who likes funny stories and also books that know how hard it is when you get picked-on, even by your own locker!  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Maris, age 9

 

Bad Kitty

This is a funny book.  This book is about a bad kitty doing bad things always.  Kitty hates puppy because cats hate dogs.  I liked this book because Kitty does bad things and I think that’s bad and co-co.  I think my school friends would like this book.  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Mahiyah

 

The Battle For Wondla
by Tony Diterlizzi

This is a Fantasy/Science Fiction book.  It is about a girl named Eva who, with her friends, has to save the world from an evil alien called Cadmus who is going to take over the world.  I liked this book because it was unbelievable, but in a way, it seemed as if it could be possible.  Who do you think would like this book? Big Nate Goes for Broke

This is a Humorous book.  It is about a middle school kid who tries to win in basketball and also in snow sculpting and cartooning competitions against a team his school lost to last year.  I like this book because it is very funny and it is a mixture of pictures and words.  I think kids 3rd grade to middle schoolers would like this book.  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Agastya, age 8

Calvin and Hobbes

This is a Humorous book.  This book is about Calvin and Hobbes and their adventures.  It is written in comic-book form.  It is awesome!  It is awesome because Calvin can do things I cannot do.  I think 3rd grade boys and my Dad would like this book.  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Evan, age 8

This is a  Humorous book.  This book is about robberies, dinosaurs and doing funny things like riding a tortoise.  I dislike this book because the topics I do not like any more.  I think kids ages 4-7 would like it.  I give this book two stars.  Reviewed by Demitrius, age 10

This is a funny book.  This book is about a kid sheriff who knows a lot about dinosaurs and blames a lot of robberies on dinosaurs instead of robbers and the robbers get mad that the dinosaurs got the credit.  I kind of liked this book because of the humor and the boy who knows a lot about dinosaurs.  I think kids in grades k-2 would like this book.  I give this book two and a half stars.  Reviewed by Dominic

This is a Christian Fiction book.  This book is about the apocalypse- from a Christian view.  Plus, it's a true story.... it just hasn't happened yet!  I like suspense and fiction stories.  This book is not exactly for pre-k to 3rd grade, but it's geared more towards preteens and high school kids.  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Elowyn, age 11

This is a non-fiction book.  This book is about scarlet fever, bubonic plague, yellow fever, cholera, smallpox, influenza, malaria and measles.  I liked this book because I like terrifying plagues.  If you like deadly sicknesses this book is for you.  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Tess
 

Smile

This book is a graphic novel, found in the Non-Fiction section of the library.  This book is about how Raina severely injured her 2 front teeth.  Raina has to go to lots of dentist appointments and has friends who are not so nice.  I like this book because Smile is a true story and it is basically all pictures.  I think my cousins who are in middle and high school would like this book.  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Simran, age 9

This is a mystery and adventure book.  This book is about a veil of light that is being returned to its homeland and a burglar who is going to try to steal it.  I liked this book because it’s a mixture of mystery and adventure and it is really sweet.  I think anyone interested in facts would like this book.  Reviewed by Ankita

A Wrinkle In Time
Madeleine L'Engle
This is a Fantasy/Science Fiction book.  It is about three children who "tesser" with three women called Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and  Mrs. Which, who take them to different planets to try and find their father, who has been gone for quite a while.  I like this book because it had away of having a Sci-Fi feel, but also having a touch of  fantasy to disolve the futuristic part of it.  I think my friends Savion and Alice would like this book.  I give this book five stars.  Reviewed by Elise, age 11
