improve their skills. Sponsored by CU Kid
Chess, an informal organization run

The Story of Coppelia

Save our regular “Prairie Breezes”
second Wednesday for an extra special
treat this month. Join dancers from the
Champaign Urbana Ballet Company as
they introduce the story of Coppelia and
perform excerpts from their upcoming
performance of this fast moving ballet,
well suited for both children and adults.

Pinocchio:
Marionette Show
Sunday, May 18

For all ages.
The Elsenpeter Marionettes tell the story
of Pinocchio in a unique presentation
that will inspire both adults and children.
Come see our hero overcome his own
selfishness, rescue his father, and
become a “real boy!”

Summer Reading Begins
Tuesday, May 27
For preschool through 6th grade
Sign up in the Children’s Department for
a summer of reading fun. Read 10 books
to earn a book of your choice from The
Friends of The Urbana Free Library and
many coupons from local businesses.
