Addy Saves the Day
by Valerie Tripp.
This is one of the best books I've ever read. They are trying to make a garden to help soldiers who just got done fighting in the Civil War. In the first book Addy is a slave. My favorite part is when Addy's long lost brother comes home. I would definitely tell you to read this series of Addy books in order. But if you don't like the feeling that you're in the book don't you dare read it! I'm not going to tell you any more. But if you like the way it sounds, read it!
I would give this book five stars. Reviewed by Ashley, age 9.
