At Home Services

Can't come to the library? Are you out of town? The Library can still help you with your information needs.

Our reference librarians are available to answer questions and find materials for you whenever the library is open. Just call us at (217) 367-4405.

You can email us at reference@urbanafreelibrary.org or "Ask Us Online".

If you have a personal computer with Internet access, you yourself can remotely access a number of resources that our library subscribes to. You can read full-text magazine articles online, use an encyclopedia, find good books to read, take practice civil service exams, and do genealogical research. Do library research from the comfort of your home. Or, you can download an audiobook to your own mp3 player through My Media Mall. Best of all, these services are available whenever you want to use them -- 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

If you are physically unable to come to the library, we provide a home delivery service.

If you live at Clark-Lindsey Village or at Canterbury Ridge, take advantage of the weekly library shuttle visit to receive and return your library materials.
