Peace Please : United Nations Day

The United Nations Organization was founded in 1945 to encourage international cooperation and peace. The Children's Department has many great books on peace.

It's Cybersecurity Month in Illinois!

October is National Cybersecurity Month. Here at the Library, we’re encouraging parents to take some time to review ways to keep their children safe on the internet. To start, the National Cybersecurity Alliance has a website where you will find useful information:

Star Wars Night!

While we’re all waiting for December 18 when the next Star Wars Movie comes out, we decided to get in the mood by hosting a fun filled Star Wars Night here at the Library. So mark your calendars, and on Friday night, November 13, from 6 – 8, after the Library is usually closed, come on in for food, fun and fellowship. Come in costume, if you’d like. We’re planning an evening with activities for all ages, music, photo opportunities, crafts and more! Watch our website as the event gets closer for more details about our special night.
