The Urbana Free Library now has one of the funniest books I've read in, well, ever: The Truth Spinner by Rhys Hughes. Each of these stories is (more or less) about Castor Jenkins, Welsh raconteur and teller of tales tall and of all heights, whose adventures strain the limits of time, space, believability, genre, and the printed page.
