Friday, Bloody Friday

I tweeted recently about how to look like a zombie. I found a fun wikihow that had a recipe for zombie blood. Since our Zombie Prom is coming up this Friday, I decided to test out this recipe in order to soak my costume (an old-fashioned dress I found at Good Will). I thought I would report my findings:  this recipe (photo above) is great for staining cloths and shoes, but the amount of food coloring used *will* stain your skin (I found out the hard way), so I wouldn’t use it in your hair or on your face.

I want to be covered in blood Friday night, but I don’t want to be covered in blood residue Saturday and Sunday. So what’s a good infonaut to do in this situation? Well, I asked Google and found a recipe that *wouldn’t* stain your skin (the trick is using washable paint). See you on Friday! I’ll be the one covered in blood.
