Architects young and old at the Library

We have some replacements for our ever popular and well loved play food in the baby play area! Come enjoy a pretend sandwich. We have had some dads show an admirable level of gusto enjoying the food their toddlers have prepared for them. A mom the other day expressed some surprise that a tea cup of pretend lemonade was $100 according to her business minded young daughter. Inflation.

A new toy we’ve gotten that has proven very popular with older kids (and parents) is Keva blocks. These are simple wooden planks that you can make amazing structures out of. There is a binder with building ideas. Come in for some bonding time and to give them a try.

Included is a picture of Luna and her dad practicing their architectural talents! --Rachel V.
