It's National Library Week!

From April 14-20, 2013, stop by the library to celebrate National Library Week!

Not sure how to celebrate? Try one of these fun suggestions:

  • Celebrate National Library Workers Day (today, April 16, 2013) by submitting a star for your favorite library employee, letting everyone know that you value the contributions made by him/her and all the other library staff.
  • Thursday, April 18, 2013, participate in Support Teen Literature Day by reading a new book from the YA (young adult) section. Or, post a Facebook status and/or tweet about your favorite YA book!
  • Stop by the library today and/or tomorrow, April 16-17 from 3-6 p.m. to check out the new Teen Open Lab in the Lewis Auditorium. With film making, 3D printing, music, reading, drawing, crafting, gaming, or just hanging out with friends, the Open Lab has something for everyone!

It might be gloomy and rainy outside, but don’t let that stop you from celebrating National Library Week at The Urbana Free Library!
