Reading and Book Signing with Author Lania Knight

Author Lania Knight will be our guest to talk about her recently released debut novella, Three Cubic Feet. The story centers on a gay teenager growing up in Springfield, Missouri. Special guest Nico Canaday (a student at Eastern Illinois University and the former president of EIU PRIDE) will do a dramatic reading from the book. Lania will be available to sign books and answer questions after the reading.

Lania Knight teaches creative writing at Eastern Illinois University. Her stories and essays have been published in numerous journals, including PANK and Midwestern Gothic.

In Three Cubic Feet, Lania Knight renders a touching and violent coming of age. Gay and straight, her characters leap off the page and grab our hearts.
